Hamida Ahmadi is a goal-oriented forward-thinker with over a decade of experience leading, supervising, planning and accomplishing the full range of acquisition activities. Hamida has led complex evaluations and negotiations, awarded and managed contracts in the United States, Iraq, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, Bahrain, and Jordan valued over $10 billion. She has a strong knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Halima Ahmadi Montecalvo

Dr. Halima Ahmadi-Montecalvo is a highly-driven, results-oriented public health leader and researcher with 20 years of extensive experience in research and evaluation design, strategic business development, health policy analysis, and development of recommendations for policy and program implementation. She is a dynamic equity-centered leader with particular expertise in developing and leading high functioning teams, setting and accomplishing strategic goals, developing partnerships, and using a data driven approach for system transformation with a focus on improving health outcomes for underserved populations.
Dr. Ahmadi-Montecalvo’s research focuses on the social drivers of health and health inequities, with a particular interest in issues explaining factors within the social and built environment that affect the lives of vulnerable population groups. She has decades of experience in program evaluation, and social and behavioral health research working with local, state, and a number of federal government clients, including the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS); the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC); the National Institutes of Health (NIH); the Department of Labor (DoL); the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD); and the Veterans Health Administration (VHA).
She holds a Master’s of Public Health with a focus in Epidemiology and Community Health from Brown University, and a PhD in Social and Behavioral Sciences from West Virginia University, School of Public Health.
